Introduction
Scena was established in 1986 bringing together a professional team of Technicians and Craftsmen capable of producing a high standard of specialist workmanship.
Scena have become increasingly involved in themed exhibitions, an aspect of scenic design which we find most rewarding. We have managed many permanent and semi-permanent displays using our skills in building and construction design to produce exhibitions opening to wide critical acclaim. Be it scenic representation or accurate aged reproductions, Scena can draw on a wealth of talent. We can supply anything from large sophisticated computer operated systems to simulations of earthquakes and rainforests.
Combined with our proven track record in the Conference, Theatre and the Rock and Roll circuit, we have established ourselves among the market leaders in the scenery industry. |

The Site
Our workshop floor capacity of some 35,000 sq ft accommodates over forty tradesmen. A further 32,000 sq ft of storage space is used to store client's scenery for reuse on further productions. In addition we have 18,000 sq ft of assembly and painting space for preassembly of our sets, or for rental by others.
The Service
We offer services of timber, metal fabrication, specialist decorating and paint finishes. We can also sub contract work for specialized areas such as sculpture, modelling, plastics, signage, graphics, audio visual and lighting (for permanent installations), drapes, scenic painting and much more.
Our management services range from standard scenery contracting to principal contractor, including Health and Safety and C.D.M. management. We have an extensive networked computer system including C.A.D. facilities. |
